John Heenan will show how he integrated AI tools into every phase of a five-year, hard-fought federal trial, culminating last week in a $15.9 million verdict against Canyon Creek Memory Care and its corporate parent, Koelsch Senior Communities, on behalf of families whose loved ones died during a COVID-19 outbreak at a Billings memory care facility. This seminar will demonstrate how AI can sharpen case themes, organize voluminous discovery, prepare witness examinations, and strengthen trial narrative, without sacrificing the human judgment and ethical obligations that trial work demands.

John Heenan is a Montana trial lawyer and the co-founder and managing partner of Heenan & Cook in Billings. His practice focuses on personal injury, consumer protection, and complex litigation. He received a $28 million verdict against CoreCivic last year and a $15.9 million verdict last week.
